Change Header Image

Change the header image

Changing the header image is very easy. First locate the image on your computer; it can be found in the theme folder – images. The image size is can be found be either opening the image in photo shop or the information will be in the help file

Replace this image with the new image required and ftp the image into the correct folder on line
/public_html/wp-content/themes/themename/images

Resize the header image

You probably have an image that you wish to use which is the wrong size for the header. For instance you may have an image which is 1000px * 800px and the header image of the wordpress web site theme is 850px * 200px

This is a video showing you how to change a image size. Remember to save the image as a new name to ensure you keep the original image and the new size image.
